Dive Rite’s High Flow Angled Adapter attaches between the second stage and the low pressure hose, routing the hose down the diver’s chest or under the arm. This low-profile adapter is not an omnidirectional swivel, so it maintains its angle and won’t allow the regulator to flop around sloppily. A common issue with single-tank regulator setups is a large hose arc that protrudes from the tank around the diver and is an entanglement hazard. This adapter can be placed on a 40-inch primary regulator hose and routed under the diver’s arm and up to their mouth, resulting in a safer and more streamlined configuration. Sidemount divers use this adapter to route hoses down their chests to their bottles, eliminating the need to route them around their necks.
